      What is the minimum size of a QR Code?

      Learn how to choose the best size for your QR Code

      The minimum size of a QR Code for it to be read correctly is 1" or 2 to 3cm.

      Here is a formula that will help you choose the best size:

      Scanning distance / 10 = Minimum QR Code size

      (as long as this number is not lower than 1" or 2 to 3cm)

      For example, if your visitors will be 40" or 100cm away, the size of your QR Code should be 4" or 10cm.

      NOTE: We strongly recommend scanning one printed version of the QR Code in its required size before publishing it, using whichever mobile device/QR Code reader you have at your disposal.
