• A Unique scan is a visit to a page on a website. If the visitor reloads a page, this counts as an additional scan. If the user navigates to a different page and then returns to the original page, this will count as another scan.
  • A Scan, on the other hand, is defined as a sequence of consecutive scan without a 30-minute break. A unique scan always contains one or more scans.

Example: A user scans "QR code A" > closes the browser > scans "QR code A" again: this results in one Unique scan and two Scans.
